Season Recap
- Open: Off to a good start, the Rhummakers reach the semifinals outright, along with Great Taste Coffee, but never won a single game during the four-team semifinals, could only settle to play for third place, losing to Northern Consolidated (NCC), 4-2 in their Best-of-Seven series, ended up 4th overall.
- All Filipino: In the four-team carryover semifinals, Tanduay was locked in a three-way battle for the second finals berth, with Shell Azodrin and Ginebra, was the first to bow out of the finals race, with their series for third place against Ginebra still tied at 2-2, following the Gins' 104-102 win in Game 4, the Rhummakers were declared third-placers due to their superior winning percentage over the Ginebras in the four-game series.
- Reinforced: With a new coach, in the returning Arturo Valenzona, and newly-acquired center, Ramon Fernandez, the Rhummakers could only manage to win 4 out of 12 elimination round games, with slim hopes of entering the next round, Tanduay was already eliminated by Great Taste, 138-118 right on the first day of the Quarterfinals, but didnt go out without a win, pulling off a 123-118 upset over Magnolia Quench Plus on the next game, denying the Thirst Quenchers an outright entry to the semis, the Rhummakers lost their last game of the season to NCC by 30 points, 129-99, for a dismal 5-win, 10-loss record.
